The Dream of a Strong Team

Habitat Chesapeake welcomes nearly 3,000 volunteers each year to build homes, revitalize communities and process donations in our ReStores. The vast majority of these helping hands come from corporations and other organizations participating in our Team Build program. Time and again, Team Build partners find that a day with Habitat has all of the benefits of a retreat – building camaraderie, and new skills as members make a difference alongside one another.

With 10 or more volunteers, and a minimum donation of $3,000*, Team Build partners experience a day of service planned specifically for their group. Working directly with our construction team or ReStore managers, your team will learn new skills while interacting with each other in a unique and open atmosphere. Your financial contribution directly supports Habitat Chesapeake’s mission, buying lumber, drywall, windows, doors and more to keep building decent, affordable homes for families in need. And, Team Build partners receive promotional benefits, including group photography throughout the day, recognition in Habitat publications, Habitat swag for participants and social media shout-outs.
