Women Build volunteers come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Women Build crews include women of all ages from teens to well into their retirement years. No previous construction experience needed. Men are welcome too!

Veterans Day Build focuses on the power of the Veteran community coming together to build affordable homes for families in need. During this day of service we invite Veteran owned businesses and supporters to help us build affordable homes locally.

Habitat Chesapeake is partnering with the LGBTQ community and its supporters for Pride Build! Join us for a day of putting nail to hammer in support of our vision of building homes, communities and hope. We’ll handle the training, tools, safety gear, meals and all the fun stuff in between!

Partnering with Habitat Chesapeake is an excellent way to offer employee engagement and team building opportunities, promote your company to the larger world, and make a lasting impact. We work with corporations of all sizes to build customized partnerships. 

Habitat Chesapeake is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of the U.S. law. To claim a donation on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
