2528 E. Eager Street, Baltimore, MD 21205

Habitat Chesapeake is excited to announce that one of our Habitat homes is listed for sale as an affordable market property in the East Baltimore neighborhood of Milton-Montford. Milton-Montford is located in the heart of East Baltimore, and was once a close-knit community of Czech-American immigrants. Following many families’ migration to neighboring counties, the community suffered from disinvestment. Today, it is experiencing a renaissance, thanks to strong community organizing by engaged residents, an influx of public and private investments and the transformation of nearby industrial buildings into nonprofit headquarters and hubs of innovation.

A beautiful fully-renovation townhome, 2528 E. Eager Street is one of fifteen homes that Habitat Chesapeake will renovate within the Milton-Montford neighborhood. If you are looking to purchase a home in East Baltimore, fall within our area median income rage (learn more here) and are seeking a fully renovated 3 bed/1.5 bath home including open floor plan, beautiful laminated floors, appliances, brand-new heating and central air conditioning, please contact the Richardson LaGrant Group at 443.235.2498 or click here!

Our work in Milton-Montford

Habitat Chesapeake worked in Milton-Montford and neighboring communities in East Baltimore intermittently from 2010 – 2015, ultimately building and/or restoring 90+ houses. Our investment and new homeowners, combined with efforts by the Southeast Community Development Corporation, Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation and Johns Hopkins contributed greatly to the growth of the area. In 2019, we acquired an additional 15 vacant homes on East Eager and Rose Streets, which will bring the total number of Habitat homes in East Baltimore to more than 100.
